Two Kinds of Pakistan Post Number
Pakistan Post uses two main number styles. Urgent Mail Service (UMS) parcels inside Pakistan get a 9-digit number.
Registered mail and international Express Mail Service (EMS) items get a 13-character code that mixes letters and numbers and ends in PK. Both are printed on your booking receipt from the post office.
What Pakistan Post Is
Pakistan Post is the national postal service. It works under the Ministry of Communications, Government of Pakistan, and runs a network of General Post Offices (GPOs).
It sends UMS items inside the country and EMS items abroad. Its official tracking page is ep.gov.pk, and its main website is pakpost.gov.pk.

How a Pakistan Post Parcel Moves
Most parcels go through these four steps:
